Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information saia-tech ("we", "us") collects when you use the StoreFlow Importer Chrome extension and saia-tech.com.

1. What we collect

When you install the extension, we generate a random anonymous identifier ("install ID") and store it on our servers. We do NOT collect:

• Your name (unless you provide it at checkout)
• Your IP address (we hash it for abuse detection only; raw IPs are never stored)
• The content of products you import
• Your WooCommerce or AI API credentials (these stay encrypted on your device when using BYO-AI mode)
• Browsing history

If you purchase a license or top up the AI wallet, we collect your email address, which is linked to your install ID.

2. What stays on your device

The following are stored locally in your browser and never transmitted to us:

• WooCommerce store URL, Consumer Key, Consumer Secret
• Your AliExpress Tracking ID (if you set one)
• BYO-AI provider API keys (when you use a third-party AI provider)
• Your encryption passphrase
• Imported product details

Secrets are encrypted with AES-GCM and a key derived from your passphrase using PBKDF2 (310,000 iterations). The vault auto-locks after 5 minutes of inactivity.

3. What we send to third parties

The extension makes network calls directly from your browser to:

• Your WooCommerce store — to create products
• AliExpress — to read product pages
• Your chosen AI provider (BYO mode only) — only if you enable AI translation
• saia-tech servers — to verify your license, count imports, and run AI translation if you use the managed AI mode

When using the managed AI mode, your product title and description are sent to OpenAI on your behalf. We do not store the content of your translations.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all payment data, billing details, and tax invoicing. We never see your card details. Paddle's privacy policy: paddle.com/legal/privacy.

5. Cookies & tracking

saia-tech.com does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics tools that identify individuals. The extension itself does not set cookies.

6. Data retention

Install records, import counts, license data, and AI wallet balances are retained for as long as your license/wallet is active plus 1 year, then deleted. You can request earlier deletion (see Your Rights).

7. Your rights

Under GDPR and Israeli privacy law, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time (by uninstalling the extension)
• Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority

8. Children

This service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes

If this policy materially changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify users by email.
